In April, 2018, the Heritage Vineyard winery became a reality. Located directly behind our Timbers Room and Terrace Patio, 2 vineyard sites were established to maximize growing potential leading to crisp, flavorful grapes. A total of 580 vines were planted and carefully nurtured through their first year. Grape varieties include Marquette – a hybrid of Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir as well as a Chardonnay hybrid; both from the University of Michigan.
Imagine an afternoon of light jazz while sipping your favorite varietal, a romantic wedding ceremony at dusk followed by an elegant evening of dinner and dancing in Timbers, or just relax and enjoy one on one on the lawn overlooking the vines.
The Heritage vineyard Winery is a welcomed addition to the many resort amenities available at The Heritage Hotel Golf, Spa & Conference Center.
