Accessibility Policy

The Heritage Hotel, Golf, Spa & Conference Center offers accessible and comfortable facilities for all guests including conveniences for guests with physical disabilities.  Getting around the hotel’s common areas, from the entrance to the restaurant, meeting rooms, the spa facilities, pools and athletic club create no obstacles for guests in wheelchairs.  Both swimming pools and the Jacuzzi have lifts for access.

 

Seven sleeping rooms have strobe light smoke detectors, and specially equipped bathrooms and closets according to the following:

  • 2 rooms with king bed with shower, chair, hand held nozzle and 6 handrails, elevated toilet with handrails, emergency “Pull for Help” cord with alarm and light in the hallway outside the room, connecting to a room with two queen beds, wheelchair accessible door.

  • 1 riverview room with 2 queen beds with bathtub and 4 handrails, elevated toilet with handrails, emergency “Pull for Help” cord with alarm and light in the hallway outside the room, wheelchair accessible door

  • 1 riverview room with king bed with bathtub and 4 handrails, elevated toilet with handrails, emergency “Pull for Help” cord with alarm and light in the hallway outside the room, wheelchair accessible door

  • 1 riverview room with king bed with bathtub and 4 handrails, elevated toilet with handrails, emergency “Pull for Help” cord with alarm and light in the hallway outside the room , connecting to a room with a king bed, wheelchair accessible door

  • 1 room with king bed with shower and 6 handrails, elevated toilet with handrails, emergency “Pull for Help” cord with alarm and light in the hallway outside the room, wheelchair accessible door

  • 1 room with king bed with roll-in shower, chair and 6 handrails, elevated toilet with handrails, emergency “Pull for Help” cord with alarm and light in the hallway outside the room, wheelchair accessible door

 

The hotel has 6 special parking spots reserved for physically handicapped guests and two automobile electric charging stations (1 Tesla and 1 Universal)

 

All public restrooms are accessible with handrails for guests in wheelchairs.

 

At the Athletic Club, which is also open for local memberships, there are facilities for the physically disabled with handrails and handheld showers in the men’s and women’s locker areas.

 

The hotel welcomes service dogs and pets.  Pets are restricted to 2 animals up to 50 lb per room and incur a $50/stay fee.  Service dogs are exempt from fees.

Elevators – in North Wing (Sleeping Rooms, Swimming Pools, Athletic Club) and South Wing (Sleeping Rooms, Meeting Rooms, Terrace Patio) The Heritge Hotel, Golf, Spa & Conference Center welcomes responsible pet owners with dogs and cats (up to 2 pets eaching weighing less than 80 lb.) A fee of $30 per pet per night applies. Service dogs are exempt from this policy and fee.
